It was awesome to see Jesse & Reina while they were in Nashville.  They were recording The Saturn Projects’ “Anthems for a Broken World” in Spanish.  Missed seeing Alex.  Deigo is getting SO big.  Reina looks great!

Our kid’s Church classes at Gateway Church are awesome! They REALLY get it. Of course, we are learning all about Easter, and WOW! they amaze me.

Do we know that there are 7 days in a week? Do we know that Sunday is coming around again? Why does Sunday morning seem like we didn’t know that it was coming…rushing around, getting ready, trying to find everything we need. Sometimes, putting on the “Full Armor of God” begins with finding a pair of socks that match! We need to find that pair of socks that match before Sunday morning…we need to be prepared to go to Worship.

 We need to prepare for Worship throughout the week. We need to talk about–give testimony–about how the Lord met us in service…what He spoke to us, how He ministered, the sweet presence. The enemy would love for us to be silent–DO NOT BE SILENT! Talk to your children about what you are expecting to experience in Worship–remember, children have a great capacity to believe–do we?

Pray with, over & for your children during the week about what the Lord is going to do & what they are going to experience in Worship each Sunday.

Are we “going to Church” or are we “going to Worship”? We want to prepare our children/families to “go to Worship”.You would prepare your children to go to ballet or to baseball practice–the right clothes, equipment, pay attention, try your best… participate.
“Going to Worship” must become a life style. Adults & children will not change a life style as easy as they will a habit!

Remember, God is jealous for our ATTENTION, TIME & LOVE. And Worship takes PARTICIPATION, PRACTICE & PATIENCE.  Freedom in Worship is WONDERFUL!

How do we learn to play baseball or learn ballet? They are taught through PARTICIPATION, PRACTICE & PATIENCE!Children learn best by doing: Great baseball players are not made in the bleachers!

CHILDREN LEARN TO WORSHIP BY WORSHIPPPING: Through PARTICIPATION, PRACTICE & PATIENCE!

Worship is best taught by parents, not professionals! Dr. Dobson says that the first 7 years of a child’s life are “prime time” for spiritual training. But even beyond that age, children have a great capacity to believe and learn.

Let’s begin now to make worship a life-style for our children.

Worship is the surrender of our souls to a God who is jealous for our ATTENTION, TIME & LOVE.Wow. We must learn to live our lives giving our ATTENTION, TIME & LOVE to God. It is not easy, with so many things going on around us that are trying to take our ATTENTION, TIME & LOVE. This will not happen by accident or even if we just want it.

We must live our lives every day with the purpose of giving our ATTENTION, TIME & LOVE to God.
